"Classic Kitchen," by Ines Lombardi of Osborne Cabinets + Millwork

A CLASSIC WHITE KITCHEN DESIGNED BY AWARD-WINNING KITCHEN DESIGNER INES LOMBARDI OF OSBORNE CABINETS AND MILLWORK OF HOUSTON, TEXAS. THIS BEAUTIFUL KITCHEN FEATURES FLOOR-TO-CEILING SUBWAY TILES, TOP-OF-THE-LINE STAINLESS STEEL SUB-ZERO APPLIANCES, WHITE CUSTOM CABINETRY, SLATE FLOORS, A STAINLESS STEEL WOLF RANGE, GLASS-FRONT CUPBOARDS, AND A SPACIOUS DARK WALNUT CENTER ISLAND WITH CARRARA MARBLE COUNTERTOPS.REGIONAL AWARD-WINNING KITCHEN, SUB-ZERO/WOLF KITCHEN DESIGN CONTEST | INES LOMBARDI, OSBORNE CABINETS & MILLWORK | SCREENSHOT: SUBZERO.COM

Ines Lombardi, of Osborne Cabinets & Millwork, won a regional award in the 2008/09 Sub-Zero/Wolf Design Contest for this classic kitchen. Ms. Lombardi incorporated wonderful accents into the design scheme, like the copper pendant lighting and cookware; a splash of (what appears to be) robin's egg blue paint inside the glass-front cupboards; rustic beams to add interest and warmth to the room; and slate tiles (as opposed to ubiquitous hardwood flooring, which scratches so easily).*

A slab of white carrara marble, infused with charcoal grey veins, rests atop a spacious center island. The dark walnut stain of the wood contrasts beautifully against the glamorous stone and the warm-white cabinetry throughout the room. (Also take note of the fabulous stainless steel Sub-Zero built-in refrigerator and freezer units.)*

I also love the fact that Ms. Lombardi chose to forgo upper cabinets in this area; after all, this kitchen features an abundance of storage space (and even an adjoining butler's pantry).*

You will need to select a finish that looks the best with your existing cabinets when you choose what you need. And you will want to match the decor theme to the finish of your hardware.

As you begin to shop for kitchen cabinets, you’ll discover a nearly overwhelming variety: laminates, hardwoods, veneers, lacquered finishes, and much more in hundreds of different styles, configurations, and sizes.

My new dishwasher is quiet, yes, but it also has cool features (like Sheer Clean) and is smartly designed - something I can really appreciate after using our completely inefficient old monster.

The material of the cabinet will also impact the style of the kitchen. The three main material options are wood, metal and laminate. Wood is the most popular option for the majority of kitchens. Metal is becoming increasingly popular in modern and contemporary spaces.

Classic kitchen looks simple but elegant. The cabinet have a important role in our kitchen. It is important to choose the right cabinet that compliment in our kitchen.

Ines this kitchen design is so fabulous! You continue to inspire me with your endless creativity and wonderful eye for kitchen organization & design. So thrilling that you & Osborne Cabinets have collaborated ~you compliment one another wonderfully! Have to take this opportunity to thank you again for your incredible design of my own kitchen ~I've enjoyed it immensely & treasure the opportunity to collaborate again in the future:)
